The Power and Energy Society in collaboration with Signal Processing Society of IEEE SB OUCE conducted an event “Avishkar” at 3:00 pm on 24th Jan 2023, In e-classroom EEE dept.
This was a competition mainly focused on “Hands-on experience”, The Event was designed of 6 projects for 12 teams (5 each), 2 teams were given the same project.
The organisers of the event mentored their respective teams, the Event started by brief explanation of the project to the respective teams.
The competition consists of working modelling, PPT presentation followed by Q&A session. At the beginning of the event each team was given their respective project components with which the teams have built a working model within an allotted time of 1hr. Then the teams proceeded for the presentation, each of 15 min. Sir Vijender Reddy awarded marks for presentation and Q&A session.
The designed projects were mainly based on the core of Electrical and Electronics, the projects are namely Water level indicator, Mini inverter, height and weight measurement device, Foot step converter, Mobile signal detector, Door lock password generator, which are affordable and have daily life applications.
By the event Avishkar each student was provided with an opportunity for hands-on experience on technical projects. The event was well organised and mentors helped the teams to conclude the event successfully.
