The Computer Society of IEEE OUCE SB conducted its first Code Garage Test for second-year students on December 8, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
The students are requested to bring their own laptops in order to take the test and the test was conducted in the CSE department in room 209 and 210. The test was held on the UNSTOP platform. It started at 5:30 pm and the test was active till 6:30 pm. The test consists of two parts: one with aptitude questions and another with coding challenges. Since it was the first test of its kind, the difficulty level was kept moderate. Only students who registered in advance were allowed to participate. The organizers aimed to create a welcoming environment for all participants. Overall, it was a successful first event for the society, fostering a sense of community among computer science enthusiasts.
The results are based on participants’ first submissions and highest scores within the allotted time. Emphasizing quick decision-making and immediate coding proficiency, the competition recognized winners for both accuracy and speed. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three performers, highlighting the significance of precision and promptness. This result-oriented approach provides insights for future tests, fostering a culture of agility and excellence in real-time problem-solving
Three winners will be awarded cash prizes in the following amounts:
– The first prize winner will receive Rs 300.
– The second prize winner will receive Rs 200.
– The third prize winner will receive Rs. 100.
