Time: 4pm to 5pm
No.of participants: 45
Venue: BME seminar hall,OUCE

The event “Pulse” was organized by the Biomedical Engineering Society (EMBS), a student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), on 4th October in the BME Seminar Hall, effectively equipped with 45 participants. The event commenced with the introduction of the EMBS team, highlighting the roles and responsibilities of each member. This session helped in establishing a personal connection between the attendees and the organizing committee. The chair of EMBS took over the stage and delivered a comprehensive keynote address, providing valuable insights into the society’s vision, mission, and upcoming plans. A significant portion of the presentation was dedicated to explaining the BME Buildathon, an event that is central to EMBS’s activities. The chair outlined the year’s plan, emphasizing the objectives, milestones, and expected outcomes of the Buildathon. The organizers also shared additional details about the BME Buildathon, highlighting its significance and the opportunities it presents.

Attendees gained a deeper understanding of EMBS’s core values and goals, which align with advancing the field of biomedical engineering and promoting innovation in health technologies. The chair presented a detailed overview of the society’s plans for the year, including various projects, conferences, and workshops that EMBS will be hosting or participating in. The event was highly interactive, featuring a quiz that was both informative and entertaining. The quiz covered a range of topics related to biomedical engineering, EMBS activities, and general knowledge, making it engaging for all participants.
To add a festive touch, chocolates were distributed to the attendees, enhancing the overall positive atmosphere of the event. As the workshop approached its conclusion, participants were encouraged to share final thoughts and pose any lingering questions. The event reinforced the society’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the biomedical engineering community
