INVENTEX – Event Report

INVENTEX – Event Report

 Organized by: TECHSONANCE in collaboration with IEEE SB OUCE (PES)  Date: 21st – 22nd March,2025  Venue: Department of Electrical Engineering, UCEOU

Event Overview
INVENTEX was conducted as a comprehensive project exhibition event aimed at providing
students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and technical capabilities. The event
focused on bridging the gap between theoretical academic knowledge and its practical
implementation, encouraging participants to develop solutions that address real-world
challenges.
Unlike conventional classroom-based learning, INVENTEX emphasized experiential learning,
where students demonstrated their understanding through tangible models, prototypes, and
working systems. The event witnessed participation from students across multiple engineering
disciplines, resulting in a diverse collection of projects ranging from core electrical systems to
interdisciplinary innovations.
Objective of the Event
The primary objectives of INVENTEX were:
 To promote innovation and creativity among students
 To encourage hands-on learning and prototype development
 To provide exposure to real-world engineering challenges
 To enhance technical presentation and demonstration skills
 To create a collaborative environment for peer learning
Structure and Flow of the Event
Project Setup and Display
Participants were allotted dedicated spaces to exhibit their projects. Each team arranged their
setup to include:
 Working prototypes or models
 Supporting circuitry or hardware components
 Posters or visual aids explaining the concept
This stage allowed participants to prepare an engaging and structured presentation for both
judges and attendees.
Project Presentation
Each team presented their project by explaining:
 The problem statement and motivation behind the project
 The methodology and design approach
 Key components and technologies used
 Applications and potential impact
Participants were required to maintain clarity and coherence while presenting, ensuring that both
technical and non-technical audiences could understand their work.

Live Demonstration
One of the most crucial aspects of the event was the live demonstration phase.
Highlights:
 Real-time functioning of prototypes
 Simulation outputs for complex systems
 Interactive demonstrations for audience engagement
Live demonstrations not only validated the practicality of the project but also showcased the
participants’ confidence and technical preparedness.
Evaluation Process
Judges evaluated the projects based on multiple criteria, including:
 Innovation and originality
 Technical feasibility and practicality
 Depth of engineering knowledge
 Quality of presentation and explanation
 Real-world applicability and impact
Judges actively interacted with participants, asking questions to assess their conceptual
understanding and involvement in the project.
Participant Engagement and Learning Experience
The event created an intellectually stimulating environment where participants engaged not only
with judges but also with fellow students. The exchange of ideas and feedback contributed to:
 Improved understanding of project development
 Exposure to diverse engineering domains
 Development of communication and articulation skills
Participants gained valuable insights into how engineering concepts can be translated into
practical solutions.
Outcome and Highlights
 Encouraged innovation-driven thinking
 Strengthened hands-on technical skills
 Improved confidence in presenting projects
 Enabled knowledge sharing and collaboration
 Promoted interdisciplinary learning
Conclusion
