Purpose of Meeting:
The session was conducted as an information session for the event Code Garage, aimed at introducing students to the structure, objectives, and benefits of the program. The goal was to encourage participation and provide clarity on how the initiative would help students build strong programming and problem-solving skills.
Key Points:
The session introduced Code Garage as a structured 6-month course focused on building a solid foundation in programming and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Participants were informed that the program would begin with teaching the basics of a chosen programming language and gradually progress toward strengthening problem-solving abilities through DSA practice.
Students were given the option to choose from three programming languages: C++, Java, and Python, based on their interest and comfort level.
The Principal and Placement Officer addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of coding skills in academic and professional growth. They strongly encouraged students to enroll in the program and make full use of the opportunity to improve their technical competence.
Decisions and Action Items:
It was decided to actively promote Code Garage among students to ensure maximum participation.
The structure of the program was finalized as a 6-month guided course combining language fundamentals and DSA practice.
Students were encouraged to select a programming language (C++, Java, or Python) and commit to consistent learning throughout the duration of the program.
The organizing team will oversee the execution of the sessions and ensure participants receive adequate support and guidance during the course.
