Written test has a total of 100 questions from both technical and Aptitude sections.The total time allotment of the exam is 60 minutes. Most of the technical questions are related to strength of materials ,engineering mechanics , fluid mechanics ,Thermodynamics and material engineering. Apart from that, questions were also asked from the management and probability. We don’t have enough time to answer all queries. Aptitude questions include coding and decoding , Venn diagrams , sequences . These questions are easy to answer and we can easily score points from these. Few General knowledge questions were also asked.
This Round is a Gamification round and you will simply enjoy this round. It’s just like playing memory games in your phone. This round is basically to test your logical skills and memorising skill. We have few games like colour and shape , brain switch , revenue game , shortest path. It is the easiest of all rounds .
This is the Group Discussion round. A group of 8 people are called and given a statement. The participants must discuss either by supporting the given statement or by opposing the statement. For us they gave a statement like “Is religion necessary in this world ?”. We are given a time of 30 sec to think about the statement.Then after 30 sec we are allowed to discuss. After each person got a chance to speak, if we have any other points we can add. At the end each person is given 20 sec to conclude the discussion.
This is AI based interview round. Here a question will be displayed on the screen and the candidate has to record a video of himself by answering to that question and send it to the company. The candidate will be given a time of 20 sec
“This is final interview round. The maximum questions are from the courses or internships which are present on my resume.So before going to the interview one should have detailed knowledge of the courses which they have mentioned in their resume.
Coming to the technical questions in interview, it is enough if we have basic knowledge on strength of materials ,engineering mechanics , fluid mechanics ,Thermodynamics , Automobile engineering and material engineering.
They asked me about different types of systems in an automobile.
1. How is transmission system different in a car and a bike?
2. Explain how power is transmitted from engine to wheel in a car ?
3.What is the purpose of IC engine
4. Draw Otto cycle and diesel cycle
5. What do you know about electric buses.
6. Explain about Ackerman steering
7. If you were given a chance to design an automobile , what kind of innovative features will you add in that ?
8. What is UTS
9. Tell me about yourself ,family background
10. What do you know about Ashok Leyland
11. Why should we hire you.
12. Basic stress ,strain , torque , moment definitions
13. They asked us to show how we will sell an headphones product to them.
14. They asked us if we have any new ideas which we can bring a huge change in automobile industries.
15. They asked about hydraulic braking parts and it’s working.

Aptitude questions were asked from topics like time and work, profit and loss, ages, numbers, averages,etc…Some questions were asked from logical reasoning part.These questions were easy to answer and we can easily score points from these. 10 questions were asked from general knowledge. |

In this round my question was ” How will you work under pressure”.Within one min we should answer it and send it.
“This is the final interview round. In this round we had both technical and HR interview.In this round I was asked to explain about my projects and internships.Some of the questions related to subjects are
1.Expalin Carnot theorems
2.Does Carnot engine practically possible?If not then why are we studying?
3.What is quenching?
4.What is heat treatment?
5.Explain Iron-carbon equilibrium diagram
6.Why does iron exhibits different crystal structures at different temperatures?
And a few questions about my family background, my hobbies…

No written test
It is an online assessment of 100 questions comprising questions from core subjects(Material science,SOM,Thermalengg,TOM,Fluid mechanics etc),GK and aptitude.Duration will be 1 hour.
It is an online gamification round having 6 stages.Each stage has different type of questions with different time limits. You’ll have a chance to practice at each stage before attempting actual test, to get an idea of test procedure.
It is Group discussion round.Each group consists of 8 members and a topic is given to discuss for 7 minutes and 2 minutes for conclusion. Topic given to my group was “Money is the motivation at workplace.Agree or disagree. “
“It as an AI interview round.A question will be given and 1 minute to answer.You need to record the answer with a duration of 1 minute and upload it.Question given to me was “” How do you deal with pressures in your daily life?””. No technical questions will be asked in this round.
Final round will be Technical & HR interview. At first you have to introduce yourself. Then questions will be asked on projects you did.Then interviewer will ask what’s your favorite subject and questions will be asked from it.Tell the subject in which you are having good knowledge. Later HR will be asking few questions like what do you know about our company?Choice of your workplace,Plans for higher studies, why did you choose our company? etc…”
Have a good knowledge in core subjects. Be confident and don’t feel nervous during interviews. Don’t complicate you interview by raising a topic which you are not clear about.Have an idea on all internships and projects which you’ve mentioned in your resume.
