The computer society, IEEE OUCE SB organized its very awaited talk on Amazon Web Services from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on 2nd November 2022 at the Seminar Hall of the CSE department.
The AWS Seminar was open to all students and approximately 100 students were in attendance. The esteemed speaker for the event was Ms. Sakshi Malhotra who is a technical program manager at the Amazon web services, India Education Team. Faculty Guest Prof. Mohd Abdul Hameed sir received the speaker and later addressed the audience.
Ms. Sakshi Malhotra then later started the talk with basic topics like what is Cloud and how it is helping numerous enterprises around the globe. She then continued to speak about Amazon Web Services. The speaker ended the talk by explaining the growing skill gap in cloud enterprises and made students aware of AWS EDUCATE where students have the opportunity to learn AWS at their own pace. This was followed by a quick Q&A session where the attendees had an opportunity to clarify their doubts. It was an informative and engaging session where students got the opportunity to learn about the Cloud and the industry’s requirements from an expert from the same field.
The talk ended with a vote of thanks from the host, Ritesh, Organizer of the Computer Society, IEEE OUCE SB. Further, the speaker was presented with a memento by the Chairperson of the Computer Society, IEEE OUCE SB, Mr. Bharath.
