Drive Happened on 6th May 2022 for the role of Software engineer- full stack developer. CTC 10 LPA

Round 1: Written Round In campus
The round was conducted around 11 am.
Question paper is attached. Any language of coding was accepted. The map reduce research paper was given to understand its methodology and use it to solve 4th question

Round 2: Technical Interview
1. Introduce yourself
2. Follow up questions on it
3. Questions based on written round – mostly on amazon’s customer database. Questions on how do we design the “ORDERS” database schema. Not too hard, interviewer was friendly and he was giving suggestions while we give our approach
4. Few Coding questions were asked- just the approach and pseudo code. One was based on hash-maps and sets, one was based on lists two pointer approach. They were not so hard.
5. Sql based question – different kinds of joins, how do we design Uber’s database schema for RIDES, orders, and payments. Discussion happened on that.

7. By the end of this round, interviewer gave the result. This round happened about 30-40mins.

Round 3: Cultural fit round
1. This round was taken by CEO himself and it happened online since he was unable to come.
2. It was more of a HR round and most of discussion happened on how the company works and our goals regarding it. It was a friendly discussion. The goal of this round is to check if you can well contribute to the company
3. Only one technical question was asked- how do the hash maps work internally. This round happened about 20-25mins.

The results were declared on the same day in the evening.
