Round 1: Aptitude Test
The test was conducted by AMCAT which covered basic aptitude like
1)Quantitative ability
2)Verbal ability
3)Logical Reasoning.
It also included reading comprehension, sentence correction and vocabulary based questions. Each of these sections had their specific time limit within which they had to be attempted and skipping of
questions was not allowed. The test was for about 90 minutes and was proctored throughout.
Round 2: Personal Interview:
My interview started off with a very informal introduction between me and the interviewer followed by questions based on my resume. The interviewer looked at the Projects/internships section of my
resume and asked me to give him a gist of all the projects included in that section of my resume. I started giving very brief information about each of them and I was asked a follow-up question based on my answer.
For example: I included e-yantra as one of my projects. So, I was asked questions like:
1) What platform did you use for this project?
2) What was the purpose of the project?
3) What programming language was used?
4) What are the applications of such project?
After briefing the projects, I was asked questions based on my Co-curricular activities section of my resume. Here, the interviewer mainly focused on the various roles of responsibilities I’ve held so far and what were my contributions to each of them.
Next, I was asked some questions as follows:
1) Why do you want to choose Deloitte in-spite of coming from a Core-engineering branch?
2) What role do you wish to take up at Deloitte?
3) What do you know about Deloitte?
4) In what programming languages are you good at?
5) Do you have any previous knowledge in Data science?
These were the questions I was asked on the whole. The interviewer mainly focused on the variety of projects, co-curricular activities the way of approach to answer a question even though I didn’t know
the answers for some of them. This was my overall interview experience.

I was first asked to introduce myself
(While giving your introduction do remember to start with the name of your school and then intermediate/diploma, then college activities.)
My next question was which programming language I was comfortable with(Python)
I was asked a few questions about the language (libraries in python, lamda function, local and global variables)
Then from my resume, I was asked questions about my projects and machine learning as I had mentioned it in my resume. I was asked to explain the project I did in ML in detail. Then I was asked about regression, classification, random forest regression/classification, bias regarding ML.
After this, I was given a case study: A school had 50 buses. What would you do to make sure parents don’t get tensed about the whereabouts of their children.
My HR question was basically : Was there a time in your life where you faced setbacks continuously and what did you do to be successful finally.
In the end I was asked if I had any questions for them.

Deloitte is one among the most reputed company that visits OU , it has been associated with OU for past 9 yrs.
( I couldn’t even clear the first round of the first 7 companies that I applied for. So this was important for me)
*Written Test*
The written test is relatively easier . Compared to all other qualification tests, the best part atleast for me was that there were no coding questions and there was only one round of written test.
*Interview*
I will directly get into the questions part.
1.Introduce yourself
2.You are from EEE why do you wanna join IT company
3. Difference between List and tuple.
4.Whats is OOPs
5 . Explain any concept of OOPs
6. Explain me your project
7. How do you reverse the characters of a string .
Questions are mostly asked on the technical skills that you mention in your Resume.
On the day of interview you will be divided into panels and usually the questions are of same kind for all the students of the same panel, so its good if you enquire the people of your panel the questions they
were asked.
Knowing any one programming language atleast beginner level skill would be more than enough .
Dress formally , Stay Confident, Remember that you are an Osmanian, you are already an achiever. If not this there are 100 other opportunities waiting for you .
All the best !!
