IDEATHON is an engaging and fast-paced hackathon that brings together talented individuals to collaborate on developing innovative solutions to real-world problems. This event is unique in that it encourages the integration of both hardware and software development, allowing participants to leverage their diverse skill sets and create comprehensive, functional models of their ideas.

Event Name: IDEATHON

Type: Hardware and Software Hackathon Date: April 22, 2024

Time: 4:00 PM

Location: Mechanical Drawing Hall Number of Teams: 24 teams

This event is a great opportunity for participants to demonstrate their live projects with diverse backgrounds in hardware and software development to foster comprehensive solutions.

Teams will work collaboratively to brainstorm, design, and develop their projects. They will integrate hardware components with software applications to create working models. These could range from energy efficiency solutions to advanced signal processing applications. Teams will present their solutions to a panel of expert judges. Presentations will include demonstrations of their working models and explanations of their development processes. Teams can be composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds in hardware and software development to foster comprehensive solutions.

Judging Criteria

Functionality: How well the solution works and meets the requirements of the problem statement. Innovation: The creativity and originality of the solution.

Technical Knowledge: The depth of technical understanding and the application of hardware and software skills.

Presentation Skills: The clarity, organization, and persuasiveness of the presentation.

Madhusudan sir, Vidyasagar sir, Hameed sir, Sree Shobha mam took a part in this event as judges. Based on the domain of the project respective judges are assigned. We acknowledged the participants efforts by awarding the prizes in three categories i.e. Overall Best Project, Best Innovation, Best Presentation. Prize pool of Rs 7000/- is being distributed among the winners of the different categories. The event concluded with the announcement of winners, recognizing outstanding performance.

IDEATHON promises to be an exciting and challenging event that fosters innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. Participants will leave with new skills, new connections, and a sense of accomplishment.
