“This is interview scheduled for the one who got selected in written test. No worries around 75 got selected including special drive.
So, In the interview , questions about java, like jvm architecture, oops, garbage collector,
solid principles,exceptions are asked.
Not much emphasis on the project , But some people were asked questions about html, css
javascript. 2 coding questions were given to
1. check whether string is palindrome depicting oops (like class, objects, inheritance)
2. check frequency of third character in string
after doing these questions
sql questions were asked about sql tuning, aggregate functions, performance issues in sql,
nosql etc and then sql query is given
depict the third highest salary in each department which are to be done using window functions, where I failed to do this. But still got selected at the end.”

“It is very important to say what you know clearly rather than mixing up all your knowledge and making interviewer to search for keywords in your answer.
Don’t project yourself that you are over worthy which dumps in sea of difficult questions.
Knowledge about subjects should be deep as we don’t know which interviewer we will be assigned.
At the end, pray for luck , your knowledge tree burns only when luck ignites it.”

“This is online test
They have conducted in mettl platform
The duration of exam was 90mins

The test consists of 4 sections.
1.coding section consists of one coding question easy to medium level.
2. Verbal ability
3.cognitive analytics
4 technical questions
All these questions were easy to medium level
“
“This round starts with self introduction
There is no resume asked
Based on the self introduction and the skills that we have mentioned based on that the interview asked questions
Self introduction
Tell me about oops
What is javascript
What is css
What is http and HTTPS
What is cloud computing
What are javascript validation
What is html lists
CPP vs java
What is socket
What is operating system on networking
So he covered each and every topic about the skills mentioned in the self introduction
The questions were mostly basics and atlast he asked me to write Fibonacci series so I felt very happy and he asked me to code in any editor and in any language so I preferred CPP so I’m nervous he asked me to share my screen so I have coded that program he asked me to explain so I have explained about the program.
He asked me are there any questions to me so I asked two to three questions so my suggestion was try to ask questions atleast one question so be prepared with the questions and it shows that how u are curious to know about the company
“
There is only one round that is interview there is no further rounds.after that they have posted selected list finally I was selected.
This is my first interview and I’m very nervous and there was a problem that interviewer voice was not clear so I have asked him two to three times to repeat the question.so try to ask the interviewer to use head sets and don’t be tensed and be cool be prepared well and try to be thorough with all your basics and one more thing every one has their own interview and don’t preapare what has asked in his /her interview try to cover all the topics and my suggestion was code and try to solve many questions as soon as possible because good good companies will reach out starting of 6th sem so don’t take easy try to code daily and be cool and be preapared for the interviews .as this is my first interview so I am very tensed with this I didn’t answer two to three questions so be calm and.if u don’t know anything try to answer it but don’t say wrong answer and what u are saying he confident and be cool and calm and give ur best .

The written test had one coding question and 50 mcqs with time duration of 90 minutes . Mcqs were based on verbal ability, logical reasoning, aptitude, computer science fundamental. Everyone gets a different coding question. The coding question ranges from easy to hard level. I got a coding question which is based on dp. Solving coding question is very important to get selected for further rounds. Practice dynamic programming to solve coding question.
“After written test we had technical interview. It mainly focused on Oops, operating system, dbms, sql query. Interviewer also asked few questions related to programming language I chose. So be confident on programming language you choose. A simple sql query was asked. Few questions asked in interview:
Difference between sql and nosql.
Examples of nosql and use of non- relational database. Database that you worked on.
What are the principles of oops.
What is exceptional handling.
Difference between drop, delete and truncate commands.
The interview happened for about 10 minutes and I answered almost every question . I was worried because interview slot was for 45 minutes but i was interviewed on 10 mins. so I asked the interviewer whether there is any coding question to solve but he said no coding question.
I was so worried about my result because they interviewed just for 10 mins. But I got selected. So how much time you are interviewed is not important but how well you present in the given time is very important. Impress interviewer with your knowledge in subject and confidence.
“
There was no hr round this time. We got selected based on technical interview.
Be confident. Prepare a very good introduction. Be confident on what you include in your resume. Be confident about projects that you add in your resume. Oops concepts, dbms, sql queries are important concepts that you need to work on.make sure you have an idea on keywords that you use while answering a question .

Aptitude
CS concepts “
“It is a Technical round.
The interview started with my introduction including skills and projects.
Then later he mainly focused on java oops concepts and some real world application of those concepts.
Coding question is on strings which was easy
Sql about joins
Topics covered: data structures, html, css, js, os, computer networks, debugging, linux commands
The interviewer was nice when I am unable to answer a question he encouraged me and corrected some of my wrong answers.
Overall , the interview with optum was a nice experience.”
only Round 1 was conducted
As per my experience, listening to the question properly is the foremost thing. And feel free to ask the interview if you have any doubt. The interview was only for 45 minutes so it is better if you don’t drag your answers and clear your points within few sentences.
