The Power & Energy Society was the first student chapter started under this student branch. Its main objective was to provide students with a passion in power systems and its sub fields, a platform to learn, understand and apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical sense as well as get informed about the new technologies that are on the horizon in this field.

This chapter holds a special place in the hearts of the organizing committee as its success was inspiring and instrumental for us to go on to expand our student branch both in terms of quality and quantity.
