The student chapter for the Robotics and Automation Society was started in the August of 2019 in the form of a “robotics club for beginners”. The objective of the club was to give everyone interested, a platform to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics. The club’s purpose was to provide necessary information and required technical know-how so as to be the first stepping stone for all its members into the vast and deep field of Robotics and its many subdivisions.
This initiative proved out to be effective as we received an amazing response from our co-students. Currently, we have close to 85 participating members from various courses and various years. This made it the largest multi-department technical club our our college, a title every member wears proudly.
