The Robotics and Automation Society of IEEE OUCE Student Branch conducted a session on ‘Arduino basics’ at 5:00 pm on 20th June 2023, at E-Classroom,Main building UCEOU.
The Organizers made sure that every team has at least one laptop and resolved any issues regarding that. Then the session was started by Mr. Rohit Vardhan, Organizer of the Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE OUCE SB, giving the members a brief introduction about the session.
Then, Mr. Sree Charan, Organizer of Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE OUCE SB, took the stage and explained about microprocessors, microcontrollers, and types of Arduino, then went on to explain about Arduino UNO. Meanwhile, any doubts raised by the members regarding the topics being explained were cleared by the organizers with the help of the Chair.
The teams were introduced to Tinkercad and were asked to do the LED project. The connections were explained by Mr.Abhinav Reddy, Organizer of the Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE OUCE SB, and the coding part was covered. Any questions raised were cleared by the Organizers.
The teams finished the projects assigned with great interest and the outputs were checked by the organizers.
The session was wrapped up at around 7:15 pm and the students were asked to give us feedback regarding the session through a google form shared in the group. The session was a successful one as both the teams and the organizers were active and positive throughout the evening. We intend to improve in certain areas and come up with more interactive sessions in the future.
