The LinkedIn Career Kickstart Program was conducted on November 13th, 2024, at the Assembly Hall, UCEOU, under the guidance of the Placement Office. Organized by IEEE SB OUCE, the event provided valuable insights into leveraging LinkedIn for professional growth. The program was held in three sessions for B.E. 3rd-year students, 4th-year students, M.E. 2nd-year students, MCA 2nd-year students, and B.E. 1st-year students, ensuring tailored content for each group.
Organizer Siddarth Tandella hosted the event and representatives from LinkedIn led the program, explaining the platform’s features and its significance in building a strong professional network. They guided students on creating impactful profiles and emphasized the role of LinkedIn in exploring career opportunities, connecting with industry professionals, and showcasing skills.
IEEE Vice Chair Karthik Barupatla introduced the collaboration with FacePrep, which enabled all participants to receive a free LinkedIn Premium subscription, which offered advanced features to enhance their networking and job search capabilities. The event also ensured that every attendee set up a LinkedIn account, empowering them to effectively begin their professional journey.
Special thanks were extended to Bharati Mam and Upendar Sir from the Placement Office for their guidance and support in making the event a success. Their efforts ensured a seamless collaboration between LinkedIn, IEEE SB OUCE, and the Placement Office.
