Empowering Second-Year Students

Date: 10th February 2025
Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Venue: ECE Auditorium
Number of Participants: 30
The IEEE SB OUCE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) successfully
conducted its 3rd session for second-year students on 10th February 2025.
The event aimed to familiarize students with the society’s activities, provide
a platform for networking, and introduce them to Proteus 8 software. The
session was meticulously planned to ensure an engaging and informative
experience for all participants.
The session commenced with an engaging ice-breaking session, comprising
non-technical games and a Menti Meter quiz. This interactive segment
encouraged participants to mingle and get to know each other. The games
and quiz were carefully designed to be fun, yet thought-provoking, allowing
participants to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Following the ice-breaking session, the organizers provided a comprehensive
explanation of the Proteus 8 software installation process. This technical
session equipped second-year students with the necessary knowledge to
work with the software. The explanation was accompanied by a live
demonstration, allowing participants to visualize the installation process and
ask questions.
The fnal segment of the session was dedicated to a Q&A session, where
participants could clarify their doubts and seek guidance from the organizers.
The event achieved its objectives, familiarizing students with the society’s
activities, providing a platform for networking, and introducing them to
Proteus 8 software. We look forward to organizing more engaging events in
the future.
