The event “Moments with Mom” was organized by the IEEE EMBS OUCE Student Chapter
as a heartfelt initiative to celebrate Mother’s Day. The activity aimed to encourage students
to express love and appreciation for their mothers through personal memories and
photographs, fostering emotional connection and gratitude among participants.
The event began with the circulation of a Google Form in the official IEEE EMBS OUCE
WhatsApp group. Participants were invited to upload a cherished photo with their mothers
along with a brief description of their favorite memory together. The response from students
was overwhelming, as each entry beautifully captured unique and touching stories that
reflected deep affection and admiration for their mothers.
All the submitted entries were compiled and creatively showcased by the organizing team.
The best entry was selected based on emotional impact, storytelling, and presentation. After
careful review, Charuta, from ECE 3rd year, UCEOU, was announced as the winner for her
touching and inspiring entry. Her post was featured on the official IEEE OUCE Instagram
story in the evening, receiving a wonderful response from viewers.
The event not only celebrated motherhood but also strengthened the bond between students
and their families. It served as a reminder of the invaluable role mothers play in shaping our
lives. Moments with Mom concluded on a warm and joyful note, leaving everyone inspired
and grateful for their mothers’ unconditional love and sacrifices.
