The IEEE Student Branch OUCE, in collaboration with V Info, successfully organized an
Ideathon on October 31, 2025, at the EEE Department. The event aimed to encourage
students to think creatively, identify real-world problems, and propose innovative and
impactful solutions.
Participants were required to understand a given theme, brainstorm ideas, and develop clear
concepts explaining how their solutions would work, either through software or hardware
approaches. The competition emphasized originality, problem-solving skills, and effective
presentation, without the necessity of building a prototype.
The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students across different
disciplines. Participants engaged in discussions, exchanged ideas, and demonstrated strong
analytical thinking while working on their concepts. The ideathon also helped students
enhance essential skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and
presentation abilities. The interactive nature of the event created a dynamic environment that
encouraged learning and innovation.
The competition concluded with the announcement of winners, with a total prize pool of
₹5000 awarded to the top teams. Overall, the event was successful in fostering innovation
and inspiring students to address real-world challenges through creative thinking.
