The IEEE RAS Robotics Session on Programmable Development Boards Part-I introduced
participants to a range of versatile development boards, including Arduino Uno, ESP32, and
ESP8266. During the session, the organizers presented concise overviews of each board,
highlighting their unique pin diagrams and discussing essential applications in robotics and
embedded systems. This focused presentation provided clear insight into the practical
differences and capabilities of each board.
In addition, the session offered an interactive Q&A segment where participants’ doubts were
addressed and specific use cases elaborated upon. This exchange not only clarified technical
questions but also demonstrated real-world scenarios where these boards can be effectively
applied. Overall, the session served as an informative and engaging introduction, equipping
attendees with foundational knowledge and sparking further interest in exploring programmable
Development Boards.
