The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society successfully conducted the evaluation session for the major project on 4th November 2023 in the Assembly hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This session was attended by 10 teams that is around 48 members and was evaluated by
Prof. Madhusudan and Prof.Shyamsunder.
There are 14 teams in the club and each team has a unique idea to showcase. Each and every idea is built on a social cause. Everyone was enthusiastic with their models. Some of those models that were eye-catching are the Hand Dispenser bot, Waste Segregation bot, Hand gesture robotic arm, Automated soil moisture monitoring and watering system, Drone, etc. All of them tried their level best in improvising their projects. Though some of them did not work properly but were done with great hard work.
Everyone explained in detail about their own projects by giving a wonderful presentation. Each project was given input by professors to improvise it further. Every team was eager to receive some of the suggestions for their project improvement and promised to continue their hard work and creativity.
Finally, every project went through the evaluation process and marks were noted down by the professors. According to their marks and reviews, the core committee of the Robotics and Automation Society decided the winners and were kept secret to be revealed at the right moment. We are very grateful to our professors who evaluated our projects and encouraged us to continue this consistency and also thankful to our core committee who have successfully conducted this evaluation process.
