The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Student Branch at the university (OU) recently organized an event called “TechTroniX” at the ECE Seminar Hall. This event saw participation from 41 students across different branches, primarily from the 2nd and 3rd years of their academic programs. To make the event more engaging, these students were divided into nine teams, each specializing in a unique domain.

The teams were provided with research papers that had been curated to cover diverse subjects, including Internet of Things (IoT), Electric Vehicles, Energy Conservation, Cyber-Security, and Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI). The participants’ task was to carefully analyze the research paper assigned to their team and then create a comprehensive slide deck to present their findings effectively
The success of these presentations was evaluated by a panel of judges drawn from various departments. The judges assessed the teams based on their presentation skills, depth of understanding, and ability to communicate complex concepts. The best-performing teams, as determined by the judges, were rewarded with cash prizes, with the top prize being a generous sum of up to 3000/-.

Furthermore, all participants received certificates of participation to acknowledge their efforts and contribution to the event. This recognition not only celebrated their hard work but also encouraged their continued involvement in academic and research activities within the field of signal processing and related domains. “TechTroniX” served as a platform for students to enhance their knowledge, showcase their skills, and network with peers and professionals, fostering a spirit of innovation and excellence in the university’s academic community.
