Description:
The IEEE SB OUCE EMBS Society organized an inspiring Alumni Meet on January 03, 2026,
aimed at guiding students on higher education opportunities, career planning, and real-
world professional experiences, with special emphasis on pursuing Master’s studies in
Germany.
The session focused on life in Germany, including the academic environment, cultural
diversity, lifestyle, and work-life balance. The speaker also met and interacted with
lecturers from Osmania University who were present as part of the session, making the
event more engaging and meaningful.
The meeting also involved Ms. Rithika Jain, a former alumnus currently pursuing her
Master’s degree in Germany, who spoke about the admission process and academic
structure of Master’s programs in Germany. She emphasized choosing the right university,
maintaining strong academic performance, gaining internship experience, meeting language
requirements, and effectively managing part-time work alongside studies.

An extended interactive session followed, during which students actively engaged with the
speakers, asking questions about eligibility criteria, language requirements, application
procedures, and career opportunities in Germany. Valuable guidance was provided,

especially for second- and third-year students planning to pursue higher studies abroad.
The session concluded on an insightful note, leaving students motivated and well-informed.
